High school students across the Hillsboro School District can apply for fall internships until Friday, Sept. 18.
The internships let students gain work experience during the fall semester while still attending classes, according to a district announcement posted Friday, Sept. 11. Students ages 15 and older at any of the district's five high schools are eligible: Century, Glencoe, Hilhi, Liberty and Hillsboro Online Academy.
The program falls under the district's Career and College Pathways initiative, which covers sectors including digital technology, healthcare and human services, and advanced manufacturing, according to district records. Specific fall employer listings are available on the district's internship opportunities page, updated Thursday, Sept. 10.
The announcement was also posted in Spanish.
